Minnesota Huayue Music Ensemble (MHME) is a nonprofit organization to promote traditional Chinese culture. The organization introduces traditional Chinese music and musical instruments to American people in order to enhance the integration of each national culture. MHME composed by the musicians proficient Dulcimer(Yangqin), Flute, Hulusi, Erhu, Banhu, Gaohu, Jinghu, Yueqin ,Guzheng and Cello. They have perfectly demonstrated traditional Chinese music in different forms and combinations.

Minnesota Huayue Music Ensemble as an entity has been actively participating community events throughout Twincities, promoting cultural exchange and preserving traditional Chinese musical heritage   for many years. They have participated in the Chinese Culture Festival in Minnesota, and the annual Minnesota Chinese Concert. Many appearances at Mall of America during Mid-Autumn and Lunar New Year festivities. MHME is willing to serve Minnesota public.

The purposes of our organization are:

• To preserve traditional Chinese musical heritage.
• To promote east-west cultural exchange and fusion through music.
• To support and conduct educational and charitable cultural activities.
• To perform traditional Chinese music for charitable and educational events/activities that promote cultural exchange and understanding throughout wide audiences.
• Provide educational opportunities to community members in traditional Chinese musical instruments and performing skills.
